Polarised Sunglasses by Missandtrendy®

Our polarised sunglasses are designed to reduce distracting reflected light from roads, water, glass and other bright surfaces. Polarised lenses can make bright outdoor environments more comfortable by reducing reflections that may otherwise interfere with your view. Our collection combines TAC polarised lenses with lightweight frames in a range of styles for everyday outdoor wear, driving and holidays.

TAC Polarised Sunglasses

TAC stands for Tri-Acetate Cellulose, a lightweight lens material commonly used in polarised sunglasses. TAC lenses incorporate a polarising filter designed to reduce reflected glare while maintaining a clear and comfortable view in bright conditions. Our TAC polarised sunglasses are available across a range of styles, with UV400 protection for everyday outdoor wear.

Polarised Sunglasses Pros

Polarised sunglasses can be particularly useful when reflected light creates distracting glare, including while driving, walking, hiking, fishing or spending time near water. By filtering reflected light, polarised lenses can help improve visual comfort and make certain details and contrasts easier to see in bright conditions. Selected styles also feature spring-hinged frames, allowing the arms to flex for a more comfortable fit around the temples.

Polarised Sunglasses Cons

Polarised sunglasses can make some LCD screens appear darker or less clear because many electronic displays use their own polarising filters. This can affect certain car dashboards, ATMs, phones, computers and other LCD devices, particularly when viewed from certain angles. If a screen becomes difficult to read, adjusting your viewing angle or temporarily removing your sunglasses can make the display easier to see.
